   Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango are members of the TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) Ghost Hunters team.

Tango and Steve, TAPS

   Steve Gonsalves was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He grew up in Pennsylvania, but now lives once again in Massachusetts. Steve Gonsalves started investigating the paranormal at age 15. He started his own ghost hunting group at age 20 before joining up with Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson of TAPS. Steve is a former cop. He has many phobias including heights, flying, but most notably SPIDERS! Steve provides many of the funniest moments on Ghost Hunters when he jumps at the sight of a spider.
   Dave Tango was born March 20, 1985. He lives in Linden, New Jersey. He enjoys magic and has performed as a magician and illusionist.

Steve is the tech manager on Ghost Hunters. He has expertise in various ghost hunting equipment such as Digital Voice Recorders for EVP's , Thermal Cameras for heat signatures and cold spots , EMF Detectors, K2 Meters, and , Thermometers .

Ghost Hunters Academy

   Steve and Tango have their own spin-off, Ghost Hunters Academy, which will premiered on November 11, 2009. In GHA, Steve and Tango will instuct a group of investigators-in-training in the dark art of ghost hunting.
   The second season of Ghost Hunters Academy kicked off in June 2010. In the second season, Steve and Tango tack a more active role in the lessons by ghost hunting alongside the cadets. Each show, one cadet will hear the unfortunate words, "You're dismissed!"
