   Laura Vandervoort was born on September 22, 1984. She’s from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Laura Vandervoort is best known from the TV show Smallville where she played Supergirl Kara Zor-El.
   Laura Vandervoort got her first speaking role on the children's scary show Goosebumps. Laura went on to play Sadie Harrison on the Canadian CTV show Instant Star.
