Precor USA EFX 556 Elliptical
I have been using this elliptical indoor exercise machine since January 2008. I love it. It’s heavy and steady and comfortable to use. Your feet move in a stairmaster type motion while your arms move in a ski-pole handling fashion. It would be akin to cross country skiing. It keeps track of my time, resistance level, and the number of calories I burn. Usually, I do about 30 minutes and burn 270 calories while set on resistance level of 6-8. With the elliptical, you have zero impact, so it’s easy on your knees. Purchase a Precor USA EFX 556 Elliptical

Calorie Counting: The best way to diet as far as I’m concerned is by simply counting your calories. If you just keep track of what you eat each day, and keep your calories down, the weight will drop off. I started doing this after watching NBC’s The Biggest Loser tv show. I lost 19 pounds in two months and have never gone back up to that original weight. And this was over two years ago. Ever since, whenever I feel like I need to drop a few pounds, I just get out my trusty notepad and start counting my calories. Posted 01-27-08.
Atkins: I can’t imagine doing the Atkins diet…no bread…sandwiches are just too much a part of my low calorie diet. Atkins and low calorie diets are exclusive of each other as far as I’m concerned. The idea behind the Atkins diet is to eat high protein foods while minimizing carbohydrates. The plentiful meat aspect of the Atkins diet is attractive. Posted 01-28-08.
The P90X exercise program is widely known. You've probably seen the commercials on TV. Users have claimed that the program really works. It uses muscle confusion to keep you from reaching an exercise plateau. You work out with one routine for 30 days, then switch to another for the next 30 days, then finish with yet another routine for the final 30 days to complete the 90 day program (thus the name P90X). The only concern mentioned by users is that you cannot be a complete couch potato when you start. You have to have a certain degree of fitness to keep up with the program. However, the trainers advise you to "do your best, and forget the rest," meaning just do as much of each exercise as you can as you go along.

The magic is in the void: On a recent episode of The Two Coreys starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, the two Coreys visited a therapist named Dr. Nicki J. Monti. Dr. Monti told Corey Haim, "the magic is in the void." This was great recognition on her part. Haim has spent so much time running away from his pain, always on the go, never wanting to stop, because when he stops and thinks, the memories and pain catch up with him But Dr. Monti was trying to tell him to face that pain. Instead of constantly trying to fill the void, he should face the pain and try to work through it.
