The Britney Chronicles:

  Britney’s Cottage Industry:  Britney Spears has created a cottage industry for the paparazzi.  Her photos are so valuable and highly sought after that it just feeds upon itself.  The more press that follows her, the more she resists and fights back.  A single photo of Britney Spears can garner $10,000.  Posted 01-29-08.
  Britney Hospitalized: Britney Spears was taken to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday, January 31, 2008 and was put on psychiatric hold.  Posted 02-01-08.
  Britney’s Dad Takes Over: Now Britney Spears’ father has stepped in and taken control of her estate while she is hospitalized.  Posted 02-02-08.
  Britney’s Hospital Stay Extended: Her stay in a psychiatric ward was extended for two weeks under a section in state law that allows patients to be kept for medical treatment if they are found to be gravely disabled or a danger to themselves or others.  Posted 02-04-08.
  Britney Released:  Britney is out of the hospital, but she has a long way to go to repair her image and career.  Posted 02-15-08.

Sylvestor Stallone: 

   Stallone has come out and admitted to using HGH (Human Growth Hormone) to prepare for his new Rambo movie.  Posted 01-28-08.  Sylvester Stallone has now signed a lucrative deal to direct and star in two new action films.  He will produce the films himself along with the producers of the latest RAMBO movie, Danny Dimbort, Avi Lerner, and Trevor Short of Nu IMage/Millenium Films. The 61-year-old wrote, directed, and starred in the 2006 hit Rocky Balboa - the sixth installment in the Rocky series, which grossed over $70 million. The January 2008 release of Rambo, took in over $18 million in its opening weekend alone. Stallone is now reported to be considering scripts for further sequels in both the Rocky and Rambo franchises - despite vowing never to revive either of the legendary characters again.  Posted 02-05-08.

Jessica Alba: 

Congratulations to Jessica Alba.  She is pregnant by her fiancé Cash Warren.  Jessica’s new movie “The Eye” opens this week.  It’s a remake of a great Japanese horror film.  She spent months learning to play the violin for her role.  Jessica has also recently starred in “Fantastic Four” and “Good Luck Chuck”.

Heath Ledger: 

Our thoughts go out to the family of Heath Ledger (1979-2008).  My favorite Heath Ledger movie was A Knight’s Tale (2001). Posted 01-24-08

Tom Petty:  veteran rocker Tom Petty will perform at the 2008 Super Bowl halftime show. 

Michael Jackson: Michael Jackson’s Neverland Valley Ranch in California will be sold at auction on March 19, 2008 unless Jackson can pay off the $24.5 million still owed on the property.  Michael is trying to acquire a loan to pay the balance.  The estate is scheduled for public auction at 1:PM on March 19 at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse.  The Neverland Ranch is in Los Olivos, California at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road and consists of 2800 acres.  Jackson bought the estate in 1987 and is attempting to rescue his favorite possessions before the possible auction.  Michael has not lived at Neverland since June 2005.
Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch update: Michael was able to work out a confidential agreement with Fortress Investment Group, LLC allowing him to retain ownership of the estate.  Posted 3-14-08.
Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009. He was survived by his three children Michael Jr., Prince, and Paris Jackson.

Robin Williams Divorce:  Robin Williams is getting divorced from his wife Marsha after 19 years of marriage.  Posted 3-26-08.
